Our third album that should've been our second but actually feels like a debut – in the works for almost 4 years or over 20, depending on how you look at it. Confused yet? Well in that case you'll be happy to hear it's our most straightforward album yet that'll catapult you right to a happy place, maybe even your very own secret one! There are a bunch of life-affirming uplifting tunes on there, one that's everything but – there are thought-provoking ones, there are fast ones, there are slow ones. But most importantly: none of these songs are just one thing, but a mixture of all of the above. The perfect held-up mirror to the human condition, we'd like to think.
So why is it our third album? Well, chronologically that's what it is.
So why is it our second album? Well, we started recording it after the first but then big ole COVID blew a hole in everyone's schedules and it got delayed.
So why is it a debut? Well, it's the first one to feature all of the band members equally throughout the record.
So why is it 4 years old? Well, again, thanks a bunch COVID!
So why is it 20+ years old? Well, turns out longtime besties Jon, Tuukka and Kari have been recording an album for over 20 years now, trying and failing time and again to get it done. This is not that album. But this is the album they finally made, those boys with their teenage dreams.
